Privacy Policy

Simply Picks doesn't make you create an account, hand over your email, or log in. We don't sell your data — to anyone, ever. The little bit of info the app does use is anonymous and exists only to make the deals better. That's it.
We're Alyssa & Sarah of Simply Sales, and Simply Picks is our app. This policy explains, in plain English, what the app does and doesn't do with your information.
What we don't collect
You can use Simply Picks without giving us your name, email address, phone number, or any login. There's no account to create. We don't ask for, store, or sell personal information that identifies you.
What the app does use
To make features like your wishlist, Simply Points, streaks, and the leaderboard work — and to understand which deals the community loves — the app may send us a small amount of anonymous information:
- Things you tap — when you flame (like), save, add a wishlist item, or report a deal or promo code. This helps us surface the best finds and retire the dead ones.
- A random app ID — a randomly generated identifier stored on your device so your points, streak, and saved items keep working. It isn't tied to your name or identity.
- Your wishlist items — the products you're hoping go on sale (not you) so we know what to hunt for and when to alert you to a price drop.
None of this is linked to a real-world identity, and we don't use it to build an advertising profile of you.
Notifications
If you choose to turn on notifications (for example, price-drop alerts or new drops), we use a service called OneSignal to deliver them. That involves a device-level push token and any interest tags you pick — like the categories you want to hear about. You can turn notifications off anytime in the app or in your phone's settings.
Deal links & affiliate relationships
When you tap a deal, you leave Simply Picks and head to the retailer's own site (Amazon, Walmart, Target, and others). As Amazon Associates and members of similar programs, we may earn a small commission on qualifying purchases — at no extra cost to you. Once you're on a retailer's site, their privacy policy governs your visit and purchase, not ours. We never see your payment details.
How your info is handled
The anonymous data above is stored using trusted services (such as Google and our notification provider) purely to run the app. We don't sell it, rent it, or share it for advertising. Apple and Google may also provide us with aggregate, anonymized crash and performance data to help us fix bugs.
Children
Simply Picks isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we'll change the date at the top. Meaningful changes will be reflected here on this page.
